C. Somdeva. Vigraharaja IV (Bisaldev) - Became the ruler of Ajmer around 1158 AD. Defeated Amir Khusravshah (Hammir) , ruler of Ghazni, and the Tomar ruler of Delhi. Seized Pali, Nagaur, and Jalore from Chalukya Kumarpal. Patron of Scholars – Jayanak Bhatta gave him the title of "Kavi Bandhav." Court poet Somdev wrote the play Lalit Vigrahraj. He himself composed the play Harakeli. He founded Bisalpur and constructed the Bisalpur Lake.
