This river originates from Khamnor hills of Bhorat plateau and joins Chambal at Rameshwar in Sawai Madhopur district. The main tributaries of this river are Berach(largest tributary of Banas from right side ), Kothari,Khari, Menal, Kalisil, Dai,Bandi, Mansi, Dhoondh and Morel.
